Attractions

Here are a few of our favorite things to do in the area - by no means a complete list!  The resort office has more information and plenty of suggestions for sightseeing.

Sightseeing

Riding Tours: For first-time visitors to Key West, there is no better way to get your bearings and understand the diversity of the island than to take a ride on the Conch Tour Train or the Old Town Trolley. Operated by Historic Tours of America, both tours will give you an overview of the history, culture, and development of Key West. The tour lasts about an hour and a half, and you can get on and off the Trolley at various stops around the island to explore further.

Southernmost Point: A "must-have" photo.  Not actually the southermost point on the island, but typical of many Key West icons (person or place). Facts don't get in the way of fame - and a good time.

The Key West Lighthouse Museum: Not only can you climb to the top of the lighthouse for a marvelous view of the island, you can learn about what life was like for the families who lived and worked here in the late 1800`s.  The exhibits also showcase the technology and construction techniques used to build the offshore lighthouses that signaled the end of the great and prosperous Wrecker's era in Key West.
