Bluewater Key is located at Mile Marker 14.5 in the Florida Keys. For those who haven't yet experienced the Keys, a brief explanation is in order. The Keys are joined by one single road - the Overseas Highway (U.S. 1). From the famous Mile Marker Zero sign in Key West the numbers increase as you approach the mainland. That means that our entrance is fourteen and a half miles from the heart of Key West, and about one hundred and ten miles from the top of the Keys.
The resort is located on the south (Atlantic) side of the highway in the Saddlebunch Keys. Our sign will be visible as soon as you pass Mile Marker 15. The entrance to Bluewater Drive is on the left just past the bus stop shelter. Please stop on the right side of the entry drive next to the call box. The office is on the left. If it is closed, you can reach us by dialing 0 0 on the call box.
We are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Lower Keys, famous for deep sea and backcountry fishing, scuba diving, warm weather and spectacular sunsets. Key West is only ten miles down the road, offering every cultural diversion from fine dining to theater and the eccentric energy of Duval Street.
